We tried this restaurant with firsttable booking. Place was noisy as one big group was dining. Paneer chilly and shahi paneer curry taste was good. Except there were many green chillies in the curry. I’ve never seen green chillies in shahi paneer before. Cheese and garlic naan was also good. Mango lassi was average and rice was cold.

Chandni Patel

Celebrated a friends birthday at Masala last night and had a fantastic experience. Host was superb, food was amazing and surprise birthday frozen mango with a candle was a brilliant touch. Would recommend and will definitely be back. Only down side... as with many of the restaurants along this street last night, it was so quiet.... hopefully only due to the cold winter night.

The curries here taste amazing and really give you a taste of India! The service however isn't good, but it isn't bad either. Somehow they missed my garlic naan, even though it was just me ordering. So best to order just takeaway and skip the dine in. Also the Minced Lamb Kebabs weren't all that great for the price of $18.

Ezekiel Te Tau

This place is by far the best Indian restaurant I have been to! Service was amazing even invited into the kitchen to see where the magic happens! Food was next level! Thanks to the staff for the experience!

Best Indian in Wellington. Onion bhaji is second to none. The food is so good and the host is brilliant! Best Indian and fantastic if you’re looking for a BYO!
